Meet Our Series 2 GME Leadership Academy Participants

We are pleased to announce the 16 participants for the Series 2 GME Leadership Academy!

The Rural GME Leadership Academy SERIES 2 will continue your development as a rural GME physician leader by building upon the foundation of your 101 participation (or similar experience), advance your rural GME leadership abilities and identity, and expand your ability to influence the culture of rural GME in your institution and the communities you serve.

The goals of the program are to help rural physicians:

  • Flourish as a rural medical educator by engaging in peer to peer networking and group support.

  • Apply educational interventions when working with medical learners.

  • Describe the ACGME responsibilities of rural medical educators.

  • Overcome barriers faced by rural medical educators.

  • Develop their professional identity as a medical educator.
