Submissions are invited for posters from urban and rural programs spotlighting research, scholarly activity, and educational initiatives focusing on rural or community health. This is a great way to engage in scholarly activity and to gain experience preparing for and presenting at a poster fair.

National Institute for Program Director Development (NIPDD):
NIPPD Fellowship
The NIPDD fellowship uses a one-of-a-kind, adult learning model to enhance knowledge, attitudes, and skills and to groom participants to become effective residency program directors. This program is available for family medicine faculty and new program directors.
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA):
Rural Interprofessional Faculty Development Initiative (RIFDI)
Rural Interprofessional Faculty Development Initiative (RIFDI) is a two-year training program designed to attract providers, improve clinician job satisfaction and retention, and develop teaching and training skills for educators in rural settings. A long-term goal is to develop new training programs for clinicians in rural areas, exposing new trainees to rural practice environments.
